 POLK COUNTY LIBRARY COOP

Below is the link to the Polk County Library Coop, even though Haines City, Winter Haven and Lakeland Libraries are closed, other libraries that are open are continuing to do BMail (books by mail).  Once on the page there is also electronic book access, click on either Hoopla or Overdrive and follow the instructions.  When I spoke to Haines City Library they stated that the books will be delivered for free but you will need to either mail them back (at your cost) or put them in the mail drop at Lake Wales or Auburndale.  If you have any questions regarding any of these services please don’t reply back to me, because I will be of no help, but once on the page below, in the top right corner it says “Library Information”, click on that and all the libraries will come up with their phone numbers.  I hope this works for you to help pass the time!

BLOOD DONATIONS

If you would still like to give blood, as we know there is a shortage, you can go to:

460 1st North (it is just south of Winter Haven Hospital on the same side of street, or across the street from Bond and Gessler Clinics)

M, W, Th, F 8am – 5pm

T 8am – 7pm

Sat 8am – 12pm
